In order to create a fresh, clear, safe and comfortable working environment, stimulate employees' team consciousness, improve the company's product quality, reduce production costs, and display the company's excellent corporate image, so as to better achieve the effectiveness of work management, the company has established two 5S implementation teams in the office and production areas since the 5S activity was launched in August 2014, and formulated 5S checklists and management regulations, at the same time revised the "clean room management regulations" document, through the implementation of the four stages of 5S plan. Activities are currently in full swing. At the same time, the 5S team organizes a major inspection once a month, and each team organizes two minor inspections every month. The results of the inspection will be published and completed within the specified time. Repeated problems will be included in the assessment. The following are our achievements:
1. The workshop environment has been greatly improved
In the past, all kinds of signs were unclear, regional responsibilities were not implemented, and articles were placed in disorder. At present, the workshop environment is clean and bright, and the articles are placed in good order. At the same time, various billboards and signs have been made. The responsibility areas are clearly divided. We divide the 5S inspection area into 12 groups. Each group has a team leader and members, and the cleaning frequency and cleaning standards are stipulated. In this way, everyone will understand their responsibility areas and there will be no push-through if there are problems.
2. Work efficiency
The workshop has carried out fixed-point positioning and placement of the items, saving time when looking for the items needed, and clearing the site in time for the items that have not been used for a long time, so that our work efficiency has been greatly improved.
3. Safety aspects
Safety inspection is one of the key points of 5S implementation. During the inspection process, we carefully investigate the potential safety hazards and eliminate them in time. If we find leakage and liquid in the pipeline during the underground layer inspection, we will immediately notify the relevant personnel to rectify it. If it is found that the chemical collection exceeds the standard, it will immediately notify the on-site personnel for rectification, etc. On the other hand, we also organize safety education training. Through training and inspection, the safety awareness of employees has also been greatly improved, reducing the occurrence of industrial accidents.
4. Employees consciously implement 5S
Employees have been unwilling to implement 5S and passively implemented 5S to now actively implemented 5S, which shows that employees already have good 5S concepts and habits.
5. Customer evaluation
The company often has some customers to visit, they appreciate that our company environment has greatly improved. This improves the image of our company.
In fact, 5S is not a profound thing, but it is not easy to do 5S well. For each employee to do 5S for one or two days, he will do very well. But it is not easy to keep him going for a long time. How can we make them stick to it for a long time? This requires our education and persistent implementation. We first 5S knowledge training for new employees, so that employees understand the importance of 5S implementation in our company. Secondly, we have produced 5S audio training materials to further instill 5S concepts and how to implement 5S. The company's bulletin board and newspapers also carried out a lot of publicity on the implementation of 5S. All this is good to develop employees long-term implementation of 5S good habits, improve staff quality.
