On November 14th, Danzhao Town in Nanhai District, Foshan City was adorned with fluttering colored flags and gathered distinguished guests. The "flat panel display and semiconductor photomask" production base invested and constructed by Shenzhen Qingyi Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Qingyi Optoelectronics" or "the Company") with 3.5 billion yuan was officially commissioned!
Leaders and guests including Tang Yingnian, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Bai Tao, Mayor of Foshan City, Ding Xifeng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Foshan Municipal Party Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department, Gu Yaohui, Secretary of the Nanhai District Party Committee, Xiao Zhiping, Chairman of Guangxin Holdings Group, and Tang Yingmin, Chairman of Qingyi Optoelectronics, jointly witnessed this historic moment.
Founded in 1997 by the renowned patriotic industrialist Tang Xiangqian, former Member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the CPPCC and Honorary Chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Qingyi Optoelectronics is one of the earliest-established and largest leading enterprises in China's photomask industry. The Company's products are mainly applied in industries such as flat panel displays and semiconductor chips. It has repeatedly broken foreign monopolies, filled domestic gaps, and represents the leading technological level of China's photomask industry.
In his speech, Ding Xifeng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Foshan Municipal Party Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department, pointed out that as a leading enterprise in China's photomask industry, the landing of Qingyi Optoelectronics' project is a key link in "strengthening and supplementing the industrial chain" of Foshan's semiconductor industry. He highly praised the efficient progress of the project from land acquisition to commissioning, and expressed expectations that Qingyi Optoelectronics will take the Foshan production base as a new starting point to build a benchmark factory in the photomask field, drive the agglomeration of more upstream and downstream supporting enterprises, and help Foshan's semiconductor industry achieve a new level of high-quality development.
On behalf of the Company, Jiang Wei, General Manager of Qingyi Optoelectronics, extended a warm welcome and sincere gratitude to the government leaders and guests attending the event. He pointed out that the successful commissioning of the Foshan Nanhai production base is not only an important milestone in the development history of Qingyi Optoelectronics, but also a new starting point for the Company to deepen cooperation and seek common development with Foshan Nanhai.
Tang Jiasheng, Director of Qingyi Optoelectronics, elaborated on the enterprise's original aspiration and mission. With its layout in Foshan, Qingyi Optoelectronics has deployed two core business sectors:
- High-precision Flat Panel Display (FPD) Photomask Base (investment of 2 billion yuan): Focusing on high-precision FPD photomasks of 8.6th generation and below, it specifically fills the domestic gap in high-precision AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) photomasks to meet the high-definition and flexible display needs in the 5G and AI era.
- High-end Semiconductor Photomask Base (investment of 1.5 billion yuan): Concentrating on the 180nm-28nm process node, it directly addresses the "chokepoint" link in the semiconductor industrial chain and helps enhance the country's ability to achieve industrial independent control.
During the ceremony, the participating leaders and guests jointly visited the new workshop of Qingyi Optoelectronics' Foshan Nanhai production base and gained a detailed understanding of the Company's business planning and product structure. Among them, the industry-leading automated production lines equipped in the production base left a deep impression on everyone.
Strengthening the chain and laying the foundation, setting sail for a new voyage.
