From April 8 to 9, 2016, Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center held the CITE2016 4th China Electronic Information Expo and CIDC 2016 China (International) Flat Panel Display Industry Forum. As I am interested in information about the flat panel display industry, I have the honor to receive an invitation again this year.
The agenda on the afternoon of the 8th is a flat panel display summit forum with the theme of "technology creates value, intelligent display of the future. At the summit forum, I listened to the professional technology and industry development trend reports made by many experts and leaders in the industry. Among them, Mr. Zhang's report on the change of flexible display technology by Taiwan Industrial Research Institute introduced in detail the development status and future prospects of flexible display technology. I have always been optimistic about the prospect of flexible display and look forward to the acceleration of flexible products into people's lives. Youda Mr. Chen Jianbin also delivered a wonderful speech. Of course, there are reports from senior professionals such as BOE, Tianma, CSOT and IVO, which are familiar to domestic panel manufacturers in the flat panel industry. Senior experts in these industries have made an in-depth introduction to the development trend of the flat panel display industry and the latest progress of their own companies. The summit forum in the afternoon gave me a good understanding of the overall progress of the flat panel display industry and gained a lot!
On the morning of the 9th, I visited the exhibition hall of the Electronic Information Expo. The scene experienced the latest research results of the flat panel display industry. Among them, the most eye-catching LG-Display exhibition area is the 111 "OLED double-sided wave connection organic screen, with a thickness of 7.9mm and a resolution of 3840X 2160. It is ultra-thin, curved and colorful, attracting a large number of exhibitors. At the same time, two 65 "UHD convex/concave organic televisions are also on display. A 428ppi 5.2" FHD ultra-narrow frame LCD Module on display in JDI exhibition area has a frame of only 0.5mm. It can be seen that the display panel of the mobile intelligent terminal is promoted to a new level. In the AUO exhibition area, we share with you the world's first mass-produced 1.4 "round AMOLED panel, 287ppi, which is light, thin and energy-saving and is applied to smart watch devices. There is also a 1.5 "AMOLED display screen closer to the wrist width of women users, while AUO also displays a 65" ultra-thin UHD4K full-plane borderless LCD TV with a thickness of 4.7mm.
BOE, Tianma and CSOT and other famous enterprises in the domestic exhibition area also showed their unique skills. BOE's 110 "8K TV's real visual experience, Tianma's 10.4" 8K tablet computer LTPS-LCD display screen with the world's highest PPI, etc. all left a deep impression on me. At the same time, I also deeply realize that after more than ten years of development, China's flat panel display industry has caught up with the international pace, and even reached the international leading level in some fields.
In short, the flat panel display meeting on the 8th and 9th visited and studied, which enabled me to increase a lot of professional knowledge, broaden my horizons, and have a better understanding of the current new technologies in the industry.
